We take care of our soil and plants organically, and we grow intensely nutritious food. Located in a pine and oak forest in the Sandhills of North Carolina, we have been thoughtfully building our healthy soil with cover crops, biochar, and natural minerals since 2009. Since the time we cleared a small section of the forest for our farm, our land has been tended with veganic methods. We follow the organic practices of growing chemical-free, and we build our soil and grow our plants without using any animal by-products or manures. Our composting inputs are animal-product-free, and we make our own biochar from local trees in our artisan kiln. We created Flow Farm to grow the kind of produce our family wants to eat, and in the process, feed our community and demonstrate how to grow healthy and beautiful food, and offer a viable alternative to the chemical and animal agriculture industries that are so damaging. Flow Farm… Feel Good About Your Food.
